The Council meets as needed to discuss and strategize those elements and trends which would be important and effective for new and seasoned human resources professionals. The discussions have been engaging and the feedback positive and given consideration, which resulted in the past presidents participating in a panel discussion at the Business Partner networking event, identifying senior human resources professionals to encourage participation, summarizing a book related to human resources and sharing their perspective in the newsletter and providing suggestions for programming topics, just to name a few. From the Council, their goal is to align with the Association's mission to engage, motivate and - others.
SHRM St. Louis is grateful to have these individals to serve in an advising and brainstorming capacity and look for opportunities for continued engagement at the board level and with their peers.
